The 1993 Indianapolis 500 was the 77th running of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”. The event was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, United States on Sunday, 30 May 1993. Arie Luyendyk started on pole position and Emerson Fittipaldi was the race winner. Having also won in 1989, this was Fittipaldi’s 2nd Indy 500 victory.
