Carlos Sainz is a Spanish F1 driver from Madrid who races for the Ferrari team. Sainz has been racing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship since 2015 and made his debut at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix with Toro Rosso Renault. In 2022 he claimed his first pole position and race victory in the 2022 British Grand Prix. He has always raced with number 55 in Formula One. He is the son of the double World Rally champion Carlos Sainz Sr.
