Jo Bonnier was a Swiss F1 driver who raced in the Formula 1 World Championship between 1956 and 1971. He won the 1959 Dutch Grand Prix from pole position at Zandvoort and this accomplishment made him the first Swedish driver to win a Grand Prix. Bonnier was tragically killed during the Le Mans 24 Hours race in 1972.
