1968 Monaco Grand Prix

The 1968 Monaco Grand Prix was Round 3 of the 1968 Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held on the streets of Monte Carlo on Sunday, 26 May 1968. Graham Hill started on pole position in the Lotus Ford and was the race winner.

This Grand Prix saw the first appearance of a winged F1 car with race winner Hill’s Lotus 49B featuring wings jutting from its nose.
