The 2002 French Grand Prix was Round 11 of the 2002 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Magny-Cours, France on Sunday, 21 July 2002. Juan Pablo Montoya started on pole position in the Williams BMW and Michael Schumacher was the race winner for Ferrari. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 2002 Drivers’ Championship and Schumacher won the world title for the fifth time.
