The 1994 Indianapolis 500 was the 78th running of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing”. The event was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, United States on Sunday, 29 May 1994. Al Unser Jr. started on pole position and was the race winner. Having also won in 1992, this was Unser Jr.’s 2nd Indy 500 victory.
