The 2015 Indianapolis 500 was the 99th running of “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” and Round 6 of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series. The event was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, United States on Sunday, 24 May 2015. Scott Dixon started on pole position and Juan Pablo Montoya was the race winner. Having also won in 2000, this was Montoya’s 2nd Indy 500 victory.
