The 2001 SunTrust Indy Challenge was Round 7 of the 2001 Indy Racing Northern Light Series. The event was held at Richmond Raceway in Virginia, United States on 30 June 2001. Jaques Lazier started on pole position and Buddy Lazier was the race winner.
