The 2009 German Grand Prix was Round 9 of the 2009 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Nürburgring in Germany on Sunday, 12 July 2009. Mark Webber started on pole position in the Red Bull Renault and was the race winner. Webber’s maiden win was the first F1 victory achieved by an Australian driver since Alan Jones won the 1981 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
