Michele Alboreto

Michele Alboreto was an Italian F1 driver who raced in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship between 1981 and 1994. He won 5 F1 Grands Prix during this time and claimed 2 pole positions. He claimed the final victory for the Tyrrell team at the 1983 Detroit Grand Prix and in 1985 he finished runner-up in the Drivers World Championship with Ferrari. He was tragically killed while whilst testing for Audi at the Lausitzring in Germany in preparation for the 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans.
