The 1958 German Grand Prix was Round 8 of the 1958 Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Nürburgring in Germany on Sunday, 3 August 1958. Mike Hawthorn started on pole position for Ferrari and Tony Brooks was the race winner in the Vanwall.

During an interview with Beyond The Grid – The F1® Podcast released on 28 August 2019, Brooks revealed that he considered this race to have been his greatest.
