The 1970 United States Grand Prix was Round 12 of the 1970 Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Watkins Glen, United States on Sunday, 4 October 1970. Jacky Ickx started on pole position for Ferrari and Emerson Fittipaldi was the race winner in the Lotus Ford. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 1970 Drivers’ Championship and Jochen Rindt won the title posthumously.
