The 2000 Japanese Grand Prix was Round 16 of the 2000 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Suzuka Japan on Sunday, 8 October 2000. Michael Schumacher started on pole position for Ferrari and was the race winner. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 2000 Drivers Championship and Schumacher won the world title for the third time.
