The 2006 French Grand Prix was Round 11 of the 2006 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Magny-Cours, France on Sunday, 16 July 2006. Michael Schumacher started on pole position for Ferrari and was the race winner. Having also won in 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2004, this was Schumacher’s eighth and final French Grand Prix victory.
