The 2001 Monaco Grand Prix was Round 7 of the 2001 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held on the streets of Monte Carlo on Sunday, 27 May 2001. David Coulthard started on pole position in the McLaren Mercedes and Michael Schumacher was the race winner for Ferrari. Having also won in 1994, 1995, 1997 and 1999, this was Schumacher’s fifth and final Monaco Grand Prix victory.
