The 2011 Japanese Grand Prix was Round 15 of the 2011 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Suzuka, Japan on Sunday, 9 October 2011. Sebastian Vettel started on pole position in the Red Bull Renault and Jenson Button was the race winner in the McLaren Mercedes. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 2011 Drivers’ Championship and Vettel won the title for the second time.
