Damon Hill is a British F1 driver from London, England who raced in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship between 1992 and 1999. He won the Formula One World Championship with Williams Renault in 1996 and famously lost out on the 1994 championship following a controversial collision with Michael Schumacher at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix. Damon won a total of 22 Formula 1 Grands Prix and claimed 20 pole positions during a relatively short Grand Prix career. He is a triple winner of the Belgian Grand Prix and a double winner of the Italian Grand Prix, the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Australian Grand Prix, the Argentine Grand Prix, the San Marino Grand Prix and the Japanese Grand Prix. Hill also finished runner-up in the 1988 Macau Grand Prix. He is the son of the 1962 and 1968 Formula One champion Graham Hill.
