Damon Hill

Damon Hill is a British F1 driver from London, England who raced in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship between 1992 and 1999. He won the Formula One World Championship with Williams Renault in 1996 and famously lost out on the 1994 championship following a controversial collision with Michael Schumacher at the 1994 Australian Grand Prix. Damon won a total of 22 Formula 1 Grands Prix and claimed 20 pole positions during a relatively short Grand Prix career and also finished runner-up in the 1988 Macau Grand Prix. He is the son of the 1962 and 1968 Formula One champion Graham Hill.
