Gerhard Berger

Gerhard Berger is an Austrian ex-F1 driver who raced in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship between 1984 and 1997. He won 10 Grands Prix and claimed 12 pole positions during stints with Benetton, Ferrari and McLaren during his career. He is a double winner of the Australian Grand Prix (in 1987 and 1992), the German Grand Prix (in 1994 and 1997) and the Japanese Grand Prix (in 1987 and 1991). Other than world champions Jochen Rindt and Niki Lauda, he is the only racing driver from Austria to have won a Formula One Grand Prix.
