The 1991 Japanese Grand Prix was Round 15 of the 1991 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Suzuka, Japan on Sunday, 20 October 1991. Gerhard Berger started on pole position in the McLaren Honda and was the race winner. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 1991 Drivers World Championship and Ayrton Senna won the world title for the third and last time.
