The 1969 Italian Grand Prix was Round 8 of the 1969 Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at the Monza circuit in Italy on Sunday, 7 September 1969. Jochen Rindt started on pole position in the Lotus Ford and Jackie Stewart was the race winner in the Matra Ford. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 1969 Drivers’ Championship and Stewart won the title for the first time.
