The 2004 Japanese Grand Prix was Round 17 of the 2004 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Suzuka, Japan on Sunday, 10 October 2004. Michael Schumacher started on pole position for Ferrari and was the race winner. Having also won in 1995, 1997, 2000, 2001 and 2002, this was Schumacher’s sixth and final Japanese Grand Prix victory.
