The 1997 Luxembourg Grand Prix was Round 15 of the 1997 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at the Nürburgring, Germany on Sunday, 28 September 1997. Mika Häkkinen started on pole position in the McLaren Mercedes and Jacques Villeneuve was the race winner in the Williams Renault.
This race saw Olivier Panis return to action for the first time since he sustained fractures to both of his legs during the Canadian Grand Prix in June.
