The 1975 Spanish Grand Prix was Round 4 of the 1975 Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Montjuïc, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on Sunday, 27 April 1975. Niki Lauda started on pole position for Ferrari and Jochen Mass was declared the race winner in the McLaren Ford when the Grand Prix was abandoned after 29 laps due to a terrible accident involving Rolf Stommelen which tragically killed five spectators. Only half points were awarded to the top 6 finishers of this shortened race.
