1985 European Grand Prix

The 1985 European Grand Prix was Round 14 of the 1985 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Brands Hatch, United Kingdom on Sunday, 6 October 1985. Ayrton Senna started on pole position in the Lotus Renault and Nigel Mansell was the race winner in the Williams Honda. The result of this Grand Prix sealed the outcome of the 1985 Drivers World Championship and Alain Prost won the world title for the second time.
