The 1985 German Grand Prix was Round 9 of the 1985 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Nürburgring in Germany on Sunday, 4 August 1985. Teo Fabi started on pole position in the Toleman Hart and Michele Alboreto was the race winner for Ferrari.
The first ever live onboard camera footage was broadcast during this race and was captured from the cockpit of François Hesnault, who was driving his final grand prix, in a third Renault.
