The 1992 Belgian Grand Prix was Round 12 of the 1992 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on Sunday, 30 August 1992. Nigel Mansell started on pole position in the Williams Renault and Michael Schumacher was the race winner in the Benetton Ford. Schumacher’s maiden win was the first F1 victory achieved by a German driver since Jochen Mass won the 1975 Spanish Grand Prix.
