The 2021 Belgian Grand Prix was Round 12 of the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium on Sunday, 29 August 2021. Max Verstappen qualified on pole position in the Red Bull Honda and was declared the race winner when the Grand Prix was abandoned after just 1 lap due to bad weather. For the first time since the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix, only half points were awarded to the top 10 finishers of this farcical race.
