The 1993 French Grand Prix was Round 8 of the 1993 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held at Magny-Cours, France on Sunday, 4 July 1993. Damon Hill started on pole position in the Williams Renault and his team-mate Alain Prost was the race winner. Having also won in 1981, 1983, 1988, 1989 and 1990, this was Prost’s sixth and final French Grand Prix victory.
