The 1989 United States Grand Prix was Round 6 of the 1989 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. The event was held on the streets of Phoenix in Arizona, United States on Sunday, 18 June 1989. Ayrton Senna started on pole position in the McLaren Honda and his team-mate Alain Prost was the race winner.
